Liza understands the complex and sensitive nature of estate, trust, and capacity issues. This is why she works closely with her clients to hear their stories and understand their goals. With a personalized approach to each case, she aims to resolve matters with practical solutions but does not shy away from litigation where necessary. She ensures her clients understand each step of the process.

Before opening her own firm, Liza practiced at other estate litigation firms where she worked on a wide range of cases with a variety of lawyers. Through this experience, Liza gained in depth knowledge of estate litigation and to effectively resolve cases.

Liza earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa where she graduated on the Dean’s Honour List. She also has an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from York University and spent a year studying in France. Outside of her practice, Liza enjoys spending time with her family and friends, travelling, and exploring the city on long walks.
